What a difference a foggy day can make! We’ve had fog all week, so I’m longing for a blue sky day like the one you pictured today. That store has a huge selection of sewing books! More in one place than I’ve seen. So fun just knowing they are there for your daydreaming.

It’s still fun to browse books stores, even if you don’t buy a thing! I spent a weekend in Japantown, several years ago. Such a pretty area!

The Bobbin’s Nest staff is certainly smart to take advantage of the particular skills you have acquired — zippers are everyone’s nightmare, so I know this is going to be a popular class.

We have a Kinokuniya Book Store in Seattle and I love going there — just not with my husband, who gets all bored and antsy. I need lots of time because everything is just so darn cute — it’s better to just go by myself.

All those books stacked around each other is a thing of beauty! I wish I could read Japanese… but next time I’m in NYC I’m going back to Kinokuniya to see what I can find there.

I love looking at people’s inspiration. That army kinda green is big on my radar right now and I did some magazine tearing myself yesterday.

Everyone is scared of zippers, but they are soo easy! It will be a fun class.

I have always wanted to go to one of those Stitches shows, but I might buy more than I can make, so it’s probably a good thing. I swear I tore out that same page from a Lucky magazine, and for the same reason – those colors are so fun. (also liked her socks & shoes) Looks like you have lots of fun sewing projects lined up!

Those look like some good patterns. Do you have a serger? It sure helps with the knits. I really love the wrap dress pattern you chose.

I have been searching for an authentic Gaufres de Liege recipe and I have to say the gaufres in your picture look amazing. Can you share your recipe because I’ve tried the ones from notmartha and they were good but didn’t resemble your photo at all. Thanks, love the site.
