So, this is one of those big things that I’ve been working on feverishly over the last two months or so! I just delivered these quilts to the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles where they will be for sale in the museum shop. I am so excited about this!
I opted to consign smaller versions of my quilts, including some that are smaller than the throw size I would normally make. I figured the smaller quilts are more likely to get purchased on a whim. Plus, it’s a huge investment for me to make large quilts and risk the chance that they won’t sell (since they are on consignment, I don’t get any money unless they sell, and if they don’t sell, I get them back).

That’s awesome! Hope one sells – at the very least it should be good exposure for you. I wish I had known about that museum when I was traveling out that way on a regular basis.
Great idea, Amy. I’m sure you will sell some!
