Whipped up a couple more small items for the gift pile.

This was one of those light bulb moments for me. I had seen a really cute idea for vintage sheet file folders over at Design Sponge, but the directions call for spray adhesive. A) I have no outside space at my apartment to do anything and 2) I dislike nasty chemicals I’ll have to breathe in (and force others who live in my high-density housing complex to breathe in as well). Then I saw a great idea at Quilt Dad for covering moleskins that used fusible webbing and I thought, “I wonder if I can use fusible webbing to do the file folder thing?” Turns out that, yes, yes you can!
Though it’s really too darn hot here these days for all that ironing. Blech.

I just stumbled upon your blog through flickr! Great stuff! Love these file folders!
I saw John’s post with those fabric covered moleskins, and I wanted to make some right away! I love your awesome file folders.
Clever!!! These are too pretty to put into a file cabinet.
