Important Note: Giveaway post coming up on Monday!
I think I’m all set for the trip to Portland now! Plane ticket? Check! Hotel Reservation? Check! Confirmation of class registration? Check! Sewing machine and sundry necessaries too difficult to carry/get through security being provided for me by the wonderful Rachel? Check!
I’m very excited to get to meet the aforementioned Rachel and the amazing Susan. I’d love to hear who else out there is heading to this shindig!
I’ve been working on some little projects involving these fabrics, among others, but I’m going to have to wait to show them to you (sorry!).

I have also been clocking some time with my camera for my photography class. Here are a few shots I took this week.
Palm trees at my apartment complex.

Part of the collection of rubber duckies at Dana Street Roasting Company.

From today’s hiking trip in the Sunol Regional Wilderness with some friends. Here’s the smallest hiker enjoying the stream.

Happy 4th of July weekend to all those in the United States!
