Dreams of Portland and Denyse

So, I just saw that Denyse Schmidt is going on the road and will be offering one of her improvisational patchwork classes out here on the Left Coast. I could cash in miles for a plane ticket, but anyone know of cheap places to stay in Portland? Or want to make donations toward the cost of the class for me? ;) I can’t tell you how much I would **love** to go to this. Especially after Erin’s report of her experiences in Connecticut.

It’s such a Catch-22 to be unemployed and have some time to do things (or at least a flexible schedule and no one you have to ask for permission to take off), but not be making the money you need to pay for them! But you better believe I’ll be trying to figure out a way to get this to work out!

  • i just clicked over there – it looks to me like you are getting both classes over the two days. that really is a phenomenal price as i think each of my classes (5 hours each) was a little less than those two days together. i really hope you can figure it out.

  • I have dreams of going to one of these workshops. I hope you can make it work for you…it sounds like an amazing time!
