I know there are tons of these out there, but I just whipped one up by request for my husband, and thought I’d snap a few photos and put up a quickie tutorial here. And I mean very quickie. There are almost no instructions. But I did it anyway.
Other news:
1. I am still swamped in homework. I guess that’s not news.
2. The quilting on the baby quilt is getting close to done. Woo hoo! Maybe then I’ll have something exciting to show you.
3. We are going to a birthday party for a 3-year old tomorrow. Should be all kinds of crazy we aren’t used to.
4. I have booked my ticket to South Padre Island for June to hang out with some of my college girlfriends. I’m so excited! Unfortunately, there will only be 4 of the 8 we managed to get together 5 years ago. But I’ll take it!
5. I have ordered elastic and am going to attempt to make my own underwear, inspired by the angry chicken. Could be months before I get around to that!
On to the tutorial!
Quick iPod Case

That’s it! Told you it was quick!
Minor Details:
My original sandwich was 8″ x 16″.
I trimmed it to 5″ x 14.5″.
I folded up 5.5″ from the bottom.

Whose fabric is that? I love it! great fast project.
This looks like a really great case for iPods. And I love how easy you made it! Fun fun! I need to try this one too.
Enjoy your Saturday at that birthday party (sounds crazy)!
What a great tutorial, the fabric you have used is so cool, thanks!
So cute…and easy! I am going to make these for my family. Thanks for the quickie tutorial.
Cute. What snap machine do you use? Mine is awful and I need a good one. I’ve made cute outfits and then ruin them with my awful snap machine.
love this case, can i ask you if the quilting was done by machine? if so what type.
I love it because we’re a family of iPod freaks. I’m going to have to figure out a way to make a long strap/handle to carry it around my neck too. Thanks for the great ideas!!
thanks came out great and super fast
