I’ve been teasing you for a little while about the other quilting project I have going on. It’s the Love Beads quilt from The Modern Quilt Workshop for the spare room. #25 on The List!

I finished the top this week and, man!, this thing is huge! It’s the full/queen size and it’s the first time I’ve made anything this big. It’s supposed to come out to 88 x 95. The biggest thing I’ve made up to now is The Real McCoy quilt, which came in at 47.5 x 74. This is about twice that size!
That solid green is one of the bolts I bought in Pacifica, way back when. This one I actually got with the intention of using it in this room. It’s going to be the back. I may actually have to go to the quilt shop and use their classroom tables to sandwich this thing. I don’t have any space nearly big enough to do this!

Oh it’s gonna be NICE! I always pin baste on the floor with my really big quilts… My husband often wonders if it’s worth all the furniture moving – but I’m certain it is!
I love it!
Wow, that is gorgeous! Great job!
Oh I like that so much. How are you going to quilt it?
This is looking great! I can’t wait to see how you quilt it. Switching from lap quilts to bed quilts is a big change, isn’t it. I definitely prefer the “instant” gratification of the smaller quilts
