I was really in the zone yesterday sewing these Drunkard’s Path blocks. Each of these is a little pile of blocks in different fabrics of the same color (except for the lone gray one on the bottom right). A total of 144 blocks.

I have been completely enamored of the Drunkard’s Path for a while. This particular project is for a class I am taking on curves and circles, but I have opted to deviate from the layout in the class pattern, because I thought it was kind of dull. Here’s the plan for how mine is going to look:

Time to leave the coffee shop and get back to sewing!

What fun! That looks like it’s going to make a beautiful quilt.
Very neat!
I like your layout – it’s going to be beautiful!
I’ve always admired that pattern but thought it needed ‘a little something’. I think you’ve hit it right on the head with your modifications. It’s going to be great. How is it piecing the circles? Hard?
Can’t wait to see how this turns out. I love the vintage fabric you’re using
