Oh my gosh -- I am so in love with this quilt -- Hearts and Gizzards has always been one of my all time favorite patterns. I'll bet this is a pieced one (instead of appliqued). I've wanted to make this quilt for ages, but I've always felt I could not handle all those repetitive blocks, but one day I'm going to do this quilt -- I swear! You have had some wonderful quilters in your family.

For the mold -- try oxyclean. It's very gentle and can get nearly anything out!

I love this quilt! It reminds me a little bit of the orange peel pattern. Is this quilt appliqued or pieced around the curves?
