Sorry to be taking so long to get posting again! We were in Kentucky for a week and the trip back was a doozy. Note to self: Keep a close eye on your itinerary when you book far in advance. The airline canceled their Chicago-San Jose non-stop flights and rebooked us on something earlier with an extra stop. We had to get up at 3:30 am (note to self — that’s 12:30am Pacific time!) to make our 6am flight — and then had a total of three flights to get home. We stopped in every time zone on Tuesday. I was happy to be back in the land of sandals, but it has been cold and RAINED today! I’m really bummed that I may have missed the last of summer here at home due to all my traveling over the last month or so. But a few photos from the Homecoming visit.

My old stomping grounds — the science building (Young Hall). Cracks me up a bit that people find the need to ride bikes around campus these days. It’s a maximum 2 blocks by 3 blocks to get to just about everything.
