I’m back at home for the time being. Sorry, no photos of the Boston area. But all I saw was the inside of my boss’s house and the inside of an office building. Not particularly photogenic. Instead here’s a quick peak for you at what it looks like just north of Boise, Idaho, right now:

That’s right. That’s newly-fallen snow on those mountains back there. It snowed on Friday — earliest snow since 1850 or something like that. VERY cold there — colder than Boston!
Between travel and work and homework (and pilates!) I am pretty much swamped these days, but I’ll try to keep posting! The rest of October looks really busy, but I should be back in the saddle by the first of November, at which point my travel will be done until January and I hope to be back to some more sewing.
Greetings to everyone who has found my blog recently and thanks for all the lovely comments! I normally try to respond to my comments in a timely fashion, but with being in Boise and Boston all week last week, I’ve gotten a bit behind!
I was just realizing that in the last 3 weeks or so I have hit all the continental US time zones — Chicago, Boston, Boise, and of course home here in sunny CA!

That photo of Idaho is gorgeous! I wish there were more mountains here in the midwest. Enjoy your travels
