My great-grandmother made me a quilt I've passed on to my daughter after a little patch-up from some delightful Amish women I know. I always noticed new bits every time I looked at it. Quilters of 50 years ago certainly seemed to use all their scraps to great advantage! Your border is fabulous. :) I agree.
