This is the second quilt that I made. This one was the project for the beginning quilting class I took several months back.

I am a total sucker for that Heather Bailey fabric. I think I actually screamed out loud when I walked in my local fabric shop and saw it on the shelf.

This quilt was completed during 12 hours of class time over two days, except for the last of the hand stitching on the binding. It was a baby gift for my dear friend Kelley (Hey Kel! Hi baby Liam!). See it in the wild!

I just realized that Quilt #3 was the first one I kept for myself! Also, check out Quilt #1, which had no piecing at all!

I love this quilt! What pattern did you use for this? I might have to make a similar quilt soon. It looks like some sort of nine patch, am I right? The orange polka dots on the back are so cute
i love the green and orange!
This quilt rocks, Amy…..Liam loves it, too.
I love this! Just found your blog, and I am adding you to my reader. You are quilting with my favorite fabric, so you much be cool enough to read!
Sorry, I really can spell!
Wow, I just found your blog from Sew, Mama, Sew. I love the colors in this quilt, the backing choice, what a great combination!
Hi Amy,
I finally photographed my version of this quilt. So, if folks want to see the same quilt with a brown accents instead of green, here it is!
