Woo hoo! I have been to Eddie’s Quilting Bee because, well, a girl has to have accessories, even for her sewing machine*, right?
* In this case, a Husqvarna Viking Sapphire 870 Quilt. Sweet!
Clockwise from the left:
1. Quilting gloves. Woot!
2. Clear open toe foot (for applique).
3. Clear piping foot (I think this foot could change my life!).
* Note to self: Also need the welting foot, they just didn’t have it.
4. Invisible zipper foot. Rockin’!
5. Quilting needles (I have to admit after making three quilts that I just learned last week at the class on how to use my new machine that such a thing as quilting needles exist. The world is a vast and wondrous place!)
6. Open toe free motion spring foot. Yeah, baby.
7. Clear 1/4-inch piecing foot with guide.
8. Straight stitch throat plate, for better quilting!
I also have my eye on the special foot for sewing on buttons, which they were out of. This seems like such a ridiculously extravagant thing to buy, but it kinda makes me tingly to think about machine-sewing buttons (who does that??).
This is about the funnest shopping ever. Oh, and if you don’t recognize the musical reference in the title of this post (or even if you do!)…

wow! I had no idea they made quilting needles either. I really need to visit the shop that I bought my sewing machine from and get my machine tuned up and stock up on some supplies like this.
